Pinnacle Forensics provides crime scene forensic training and bloodstain pattern analysis instruction. We also provide independent forensic consulting for law enforcement agencies and attorneys.
Our mission
We provide practical crime scene forensic training that helps law enforcement personnel strengthen scene processing, documentation, and analytical skills. The training emphasizes real-world application, clear methodology, and hands-on instruction. Our goal is to prepare investigators to work with greater confidence in the field and produce reliable, defensible results.
Our crime scene forensic training courses
We offer professional crime scene forensic training in Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, Crime Scene Photography, and Crime Scene Processing and Documentation. The Bloodstain Pattern Analysis and Crime Scene Photography courses are each one week long. Crime Scene Processing and Documentation is a two-week program. Each course provides law enforcement personnel with practical, defensible instruction in scene documentation, evidence recognition, and forensic analysis.

Our instructor
John Calvin Gaziano
Crime Scene Investigator • Bloodstain Pattern Analyst • Court-Qualified Forensic Expert
John Calvin Gaziano brings 32 years of law enforcement experience, including 24 years in crime scene investigation and analysis. He served more than 20 years in the Fremont Police Department’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit, later supervising the unit as a sergeant, and has processed, analyzed, and reconstructed thousands of crime scenes.
He holds a Master of Forensic Science and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice. During his service with the Fremont Police Department, he held IAI certification as both a Senior Crime Scene Analyst and a Bloodstain Pattern Analyst, and he has lectured at more than 100 conferences and forensic science groups across the United States.
His instruction is grounded in real investigations, practical field applications, and courtroom testimony, with an emphasis on sound methodology, defensible documentation, and clear reporting practices.
